Airport Berlin Tegel
Take bus 109 or X9 to the rail station “Zoologischer Garten” where trains to Greifswald
depart.
Airport Berlin Tempelhof
At the station “Platz der Luftbrücke” take the Underground U6 (direction „Alt Tegel“) to station „Friedrichstraße“. Change to S5; S7, S75 or S9 to station “Ostbahnhof”, where trains to Greifswald depart.
Airport Berlin Schönefeld
Take the bus-shuttle to the suburban station “Schönefeld-Airport”. Take S9 or S45 which
start there to the station “Ostbahnhof”, where trains to Greifswald depart.
Airport Hamburg
For transfers to the rail station “Hauptbahnhof” use the Airport Express or bus 606. Taxi stands are located at each terminal. It takes 30 minutes to the station by cab.

Trains depart from the railway stations “Berlin Zoologischer Garten” and “Berlin Ostbahnhof” to Greifswald from 5 am until 7 pm almost every hour. From the “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof” station to Greifswald trains depart from 5 am to 8 pm almost every 90 minutes. Please visit travel service of Deutsche Bahn-AG for detailed information.
Get off the train at station “Greifswald Hbf”. It´s a five minute walk to the Alfried Krupp Kolleg and to most of the hotels. A taxi stand is located at the station´s entrance.
There are two main routes to get to Greifswald by car.
From Berlin to Greifswald
Take the autobahn A11 (Berlin → Stettin). Leave the A11 at the junction with the A20 (Stettin → Lübeck) and continue on the A20 till Gützkow. Then take the B96 and follow the signs to Greifswald.
From Hamburg to Greifswald
Take the autobahn A1 (Saarbrücken → Oldenburg). Change to the A20 (Lübeck → Stettin) at the Lübeck junction. Leave the A20 at exit Triebsees and take the B110 to Grimmen. Use the next short part of A20 and leave at Exit Grimmen-Ost. Then take the B194 and follow the signs to Greifswald.

The Alfried Krupp Kolleg is easy to find. It is situated in the historical town-center of Greifswald (see map under Accomodation. ). Look for the highest church of the town, the “cathedral” of St. Nicholas. At the back of the church you will find the modern Alfried Krupp Kolleg building. Use main entrance in the Lutherstraße.
Buses and cabs are available for transportation in Greifswald. The nearest bus stops to the Alfried-Krupp-Kolleg are “Bahnhofsstraße” and “Rathaus”. You can purchase tickets from the bus-driver. For cab call: (0 38 34) 50 22 22.
