About us

Our department of General Practice is involved in variety of areas:

• Training of medical students in General Practice alone but also in interdisciplinary subjects. Here, we are supported by various local General Practitioners.
• Research to improve patient care within the General Practice setting.
• Quality assurance of professional practice within the General Practice setting.
• Organisation of Postgraduate Medical Training for doctors in training to become General Practitioners, e.g. organising rotations, providing teaching sessions organised by the Competence Centre for Postgraduate Medical Education ["Kompetenzzentrum Weiterbildung"].
• Independent training events for General Practitioners.

We would like to point out that we are unable to take care of patients in the department.
