The second editionof  the textbook "Allgemeinmedizin" was published Novmeber 2024 by Elsevier.

It is edited by Prof. Chenot and Prof. Scherer and contains contributions from current and former staff members of the department: Dr. Simone Kiel, Dr. Julia Truthmann, Christina Raus, Leonard Mathias, Dr. Rebekka Preuß, Dr. Kristin Runge, Dr. Fabian Ludwig, Prof. Dr. Gesine Weckmann and Dr. Elizabeth Mathias, Julia Freyer Martins Pereira.

Prof. Chenot is co-author of the chapter on hypertension, which is based on the national guidelines "NVL Hypertonie". Furthermore, the textbook is based on the up-to-date 2020 guidelines "NVL-Diabetes".

In the new 7th edition in of the well-known book to prepare for the board examination in General Practice, edited by Prof. Detmar Jobst and Prof. Chenot, will be released on August 15th 2023. It contains contributions from Dr. Rebekka Preuß and Dr. Kristin Runge.
