UMG-Research Networking Meeting 2025 - Immune Processes in Organs and Diseases
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
On April 24, 2025, the Faculty Board, the Third-Party Funding Department, and the Institute of Immunology of the University Medicine Greifswald warmly invite you to the annual Research Networking Meeting, focusing this time on the theme "Immune Processes in Organs and Diseases". According to the latest census, every second (nucleated) cell in the body is an immune cell. This makes the fascinating topic relevant for clinicians and basic scientists alike.
At the event, we want to initiate and develop research networks with the outlook of
- DFG, BMBF and beyond
- Applied excellence research in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- the Regional Innovation Strategy Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Call for Abstracts (Deadline January 31, 2025)
In order to screen the various topics and working groups of the UMG, we warmly invite all interested parties to present their field of research and their projects. We would be pleased if you submit your contributions for consideration in the program as part of our "Call for Abstracts". Your abstract will be reviewed by the organizers of the event. Please send us your abstract to rnmmed.uni-greifswaldde by January 31, 2024, following the guidelines below:
- Who? Persons who are in principle qualified to apply for third-party funding in this field, i.e. with a PhD and previous work that qualifies them
- Specification whether talk or poster
- Abstract: Word limit: 150, Language: English
Networking Portal
Find new colleagues and cooperation partners in advance! The networking portal contains a curated collection of participants' short research profiles. The portal offers participants the opportunity to discover new colleagues and their research interests and skills in advance of the event. In this way, targeted networking will be facilitated during the UMG Research Networking Meeting. The information will be shared with all registered participants a few weeks before the event. Participation is not mandatory.
