Effective research data management is among the critical factors that contribute to the success of biomedical studies. Data stewards are increasingly being held responsible for conducting research data management tasks including collection, processing, storage, analysis and sharing in a FAIR manner. I am currently working on the FAIRification of laboratory metadata and data dictionaries obtained from the study of health in the historical Pomerania (southern shore of the Baltic Sea between Poland and Germany).
I am also interested in:
Concepts, approaches, implementation experiences and lessons learned in FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data stewardship in health
FAIRness of data quality frameworks for medical data
data quality frameworks with regard to the compliance with FAIR data principles
In the course of my work I have been able to indulge in other fulfilling roles: I am a member of VODAN-IN where I participate in the FAIR COVID-19 data initiatives in Africa. I am also a Fellow at the FAIRplus Fellowship 2021 where I continue to learn about data FAIRification.
