I am a researcher and a licensed physician in Germany.
I have prior clinical experience working in internal medicine and am currently doing my PhD at the Medical Informatics Laboratory at the University Medicine Greifswald.
My research is focused on gender-specific health research. The aim of my thesis is to develop a concept for improving the collection and usage of gender information from clinical routine data. This is done through an extensive literature review, extracting existing gender scores. I want to apply these gender scores to existing medical data and test their general applicability and practicability for health research.
