MILA seminar - Supporting FAIRness maturation with the FAIR Dataset Maturity model

Our next seminar will take place on September 19th, 2022, from 2-3 p.m. Dr Danielle Welter, from Bioinformatics Core, Luxembourg Centre For Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) at the University of Luxembourg, will present a topic entitled “Supporting FAIRness maturation with the FAIR Dataset Maturity model”.
The ultimate goal of the FAIR principles is to facilitate the process of data discovery and reuse but what this means in practice can vary based on a number of factors. The FAIR Dataset Maturity (DSM) model considers the state of FAIRness of datasets at different levels, each optimised for a specific data usage goal.
This talk will introduce the FAIR DSM and how it can be used to target FAIRification efforts per project goals and dataset requirements optimally.
