BioCypher published

BioCypher, a unifying framework for biological knowledge graphs under the lead of Sebastian Lobentanzer and Julio Saez-Rodriguez from University Heidelberg, has been published @Nature Biotech. The BioCypher community, including our MeDaX junior group, aligns forces in the biological and biomedical domains providing a modular approach for the integration of diverse data sources (via input adapters) and harmonisation of integrated data models (via ontologies) in knowledge graphs. Following FAIR and TRUST principles, the BioCypher adapters are provided as a meta-graph structured using the Biomedical Resource Ontology (BRO), which we adopted for future maintenance.
