I have been working at the Medical Informatics Labratory (MILA) at the University Medicine Greifswald as a Medical Documentalist since Januar 2022. As part of the NFDI4Health project I dealt with clinical standards in studies. Currently, I support the BMBF-funded "InkE" (inklusive excellence in medicine) project, which is a collaboration with the University Greifswald. MILA contributes to improving the representation of sex and gender in epidemiological studies (both meaning "Geschlecht" in German). It is important to consider sex and gender separately, as the latter can serve as a characterisation of the social environment and thus strongly influence the health of patients.
