Projects
The staff of the Section Epidemiology of Health Care and Community Health focus on population-based and clinical research projects and studies in the fields of healthcare research and epidemiology. The aim is to improve the health of the regional population and to ensure high-quality medical care in the region.
The projects and studies focus on the following topics:
- Healthcare epidemiology, healthcare system analyses
- Translation of research findings into healthcare practice
- Development, implementation and evaluation of new concepts of medical care and prevention
- Analytical epidemiology and risk factor analyses
In addition, we offer support and advice in the design (scientific conception and implementation) of research projects of our clinical cooperation partners as well as in the care-related processing and evaluation of routine data from internal (e.g. University Medicine Greifswald) and external data sources.
