Continuation of research

We use a wide range of study forms in our research:

Observation studies: This provides us with valid data on risk factors, subclinical abnormalities and population-relevant diseases. This enables us to identify key problems in the health status of the population and their care. With the help of hypothesis-driven, agnostic analytical approaches, we are able to understand complex relationships between risk factors, subclinical abnormalities and diseases.

We develop and test prevention strategies on the basis of our observational studies. In this way, we aim to optimise both behavioural and behavioural prevention in order to effectively achive health goals.

Health services research is aimed at optimising medical care for the general population and defined patient groups.

Intervention Studies on the division of labour across sectors and professional groups as well as the future division of tasks in the healthcare system are implemented in settings close to healthcare.
