The Medical Informatics Laboratory (MILA) is committed to FAIR data management, focussing on on practical and theoretical aspects of research data management in biomedical and clinical sciences. Our goal is to harmonise and FAIRify medical data in the broadest sense and make it available to scientists. For this purpose, we develop methods and tools for syntactical and semantic data integration; we provide domain specific knowledge graphs; and we evaluate FAIR metrics and data quality frameworks.
MILA is participating in the development of the National Research Data Infrastructure for Health Data (nfdi4health). We also support the FAIRification of biomedical data sets in various projects and research the semantic integration of heterogeneous data sets.
The Medical Informatics Department has existed at the University Medical Center Greifswald since 2018. Here is a look back at projects that have already been completed.
The UMG Data Integration Center supports researchers by providing and managing biomedical data; The focus here is on providing routine clinical data for research purposes.
