Teaching

What's important to us in teaching

We work and teach in cooperation with our students. Knowledge transfer is based on the idea of active discussion of the subject matter. For this purpose, we use projects of our department, current national and international studies, review articles and popular scientific contributions as a basis for discussion in order to facilitate the transfer of methods and research results into application for the students.

Through the use of synchronous as well as asynchronous teaching formats, we strive to maximize accessibility and opportunity for successful completion of learning units. It is of particular concern to us to encourage and support individual student learning. We want to open the door for our students to our field of research and its methods.

The goal of our teaching should be to enable and encourage students to continue to explore methods of improving population health through the acquisition of independent knowledge development and preparation.
