The Institute

Founded in autumn 2002, the Institute of Community Medicine (ICM), which now has six sections, has grown steadily and is now a key pillar of research and teaching at Greifswald University Medicine.

Our Institute focuses on research into the causes of disease and risk factors, the investigation of preclinical changes and morbidity as well as the development of innovative care concepts.
