With our research, we want to protect and strengthen the health of individuals and society and, in the event of illness, restore and maintain it with good care. To this end, the Institute of Community Medicine investigates scientific issues along the continuum between the identification and quantification of population-relevant health risks through to the tansfer of innovation interventions in prevention and care into practice and their evaluation in terms of effectiveness and health economic efficiency.
