UMG-Research Networking Meeting 2026 - Rural Areas: Role of wearables, telemedicine approaches, and AI

On May 21, 2026, the Faculty Board, the Digital Health Lab, DZHK, and DZKJ of the University Medicine Greifswald warmly invites you to the annual Research Networking Meeting, focusing this time on the theme "Rural Areas: Role of wearables, telemedicine approaches, and AI". This event aims to bring together professionals from healthcare and research to discuss, how innovative tools can strengthen rural health care systems and improve patient outcomes.
At the event, we want to initiate and develop research networks with the outlook of
- DFG, BMBF and beyond
- Applied excellence research in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- the Regional Innovation Strategy Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Call for Abstracts (Deadline March 1, 2026)
In order to screen the various topics and working groups of the UMG, we warmly invite all interested parties to present their field of research and their projects. We would be pleased if you submit your contributions for consideration in the program as part of our "Call for Abstracts". Your abstract will be reviewed by the organizers of the event. Please send us your abstract to rnmmed.uni-greifswaldde by March 1, 2026, following the guidelines below:
- Who? Persons who are in principle qualified to apply for third-party funding in this field, i.e. with a PhD and previous work that qualifies them
- Specification whether talk or poster
- Abstract: Word limit: 150, Language: English
