Doctorate
At University Medicine Greifswald, the degrees of Dr. med. or Dr. med. dent. and PhD, MD/PhD or DMD/PhD can be earned. The doctoral programme for Dr. rer. med. has been discontinued since the introduction of the PhD (25 August 2020); a transitional regulation applies. In cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, it is also possible for students of medicine or dentistry to obtain the doctoral title Dr. rer. nat.
